I need to lose weight and I have YOYO for years. I am a sahm and work part time at a grocery store at night. I need to change my lifestyle. I am looking for advice. Last year I did the walking to WL thing and that helped alot. But now that its the winter and I am home all and it cold I am not getting as mcuh exercise. I bought the denise austin tapes and started them today. I am looking for some other ideas of things I could do and also the beest way to change the way i eat. What I eat. What is everyone else doing.

I am following the WW plan. I helps you with portion control and lots of other things. I like it also because if there is something that I really want to eat, I work it into my points and I can have it. This way I'm not feeling like I am being told I can't eat certain things.

You have to pick something that you can stick to and that is resonable for you. Keep reading and posting.

I'm a SAHM, too. One thing I learned is to have all the food put up in the cabinet. Don't leave out a plate of cookies, etc. I would walk thru the kitchen and pick up a bite of something ~~ too many bites add up. Carry a bottle of water around with you & have a band or weights in the LR, you can stretch, etc if you're watching TV or reading to the kids.

As a sahm mom too, I recommend chewing gum. Especially if you're making something for your kids that you like or usually nibble on. It's hard to take a bite when your chewing gum! It's good for cooking too, no tastes!

It may be winter and cold, but you'll feel sooo much better if you exercise! Even out in the cold, or in the house.
