My boyfriends mother printed out some info for our upcomming Disney trip in March and we came across something so adorable that I know families will enjoy. If you haven't heard of Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique I will explain what it is. This was taken from the article:

"The Bibbiddi Bobbidi Boutique will open in April 5, 2006 where the immersive salon will transform little girls into their fav. disney princesses through hairstyling, nail polish and makup application by their own fairy godmother in training. Girls can complete thrie makeover by selecting a Disney princess gown to purchase."

This place will be located in downtown disney! :woohoo:

That sounds great! I have only boys so when my neice gets old enough (she's just 14 months), we'll have to go back and have fun.

I don't know if it is in the same place but I've heard of an "adventure club" that is the boys version of this. I think they have one at the Disney Store in NYC and it has both the princess theme for girls and the adventure (pirates) theme for boys. Maybe the one at DTD will have both. We are going in April and will have to check this out woth my DD's.

Oh that would be great for my 5 yr. I think the older one wouldn't want to do that. He's 10, but he fools me every once in a while. Thanks!

This has got to be the most adorable idea ever!!! I don't have any kids but If I ever have a little girl you'd better believe I'm going to take her there to get a fairy tale makeover princess:

I can't wait till next time I'm at DTD and see little ones walking out of that shop :Pinkbounc

They specifically state that they will not turn away adults...it's open to any and all ages. Maybe you'll get your wish :tink: princess:

Just FYI, I pulled this information off of another thread on the Theme Parks board:
The opening date is April 5 or April 7...I can't remember. Booking window is 180 days, just like dining. There are 3 packages:

Coach- $35 plus tax for 20 minutes includes hairstyle and shimmer make up.

Crown- $45 plus tax for 30 minutes includes Coach package and nails.

Castle- $175 plus tax for 40 minutes includes Crown package and choice of Disney Princess costume with crown, wand, shoes, accessories and a photo package. $175 is the starting price...I guess it depends on the photo package you select.

There is no age limit, but children 3 and under must have an adult present with them the entire time (duh.) There is a seat next to the child for one person. The reservation is guaranteed with a cc and only charged for no shows and cancellations within 24 hours of appointment time. Sounds like it's very few appointments available per time slot, I guess makes sense considering the limited space. Maximum of 10 at a time.

HTH

And the phone number to book is 407-934-7639

Thanks for the information. I just booked 2 crown packages for my daughters, Emerson 5 and Allison 4. It will be a suprise for them when we go down in May. I was suprised that they are only open until 6 and they also requested that their hair be clean and brushed out.
