How many of you named your pets or kids after Dis Characters?:

Guilty ::yes:: I named my 2 guinea pigs Stitch and Sully. Sully is big and sweet (a kind of gentle giant) and Stitch is well, after his namesake. :lmao:

I named my dog after George Clooney's character Booker on Roseanne!!! Can't recall any Disney-named pets...except maybe Cindy...

We named our cat Woody because he's a good friend and always ready to help cheer us up, just like Toy Story's Woody.

My Beagle is Jessie (Toy Story II)...

She's acts tough and sassy, but has a soft heart and sweet nature underneath. :)

DD named our dog Pooh Bear. She was between that and Stitch and sometimes I think Stitch would have been a better fit for his personality.

If we would have had a boy, Elias was one of the names westrongly considered. It's Walts middle name. But, we had a girl, and we went with Elise. We went with it for 3 reasons......1), It's a girl version kinda off of Elias. 2), it's a beautiful classic name, and 3) it was the name of the female character in my favorite movie ever (Somewhere in Time-starring Jane Seymour & Christopher Reeve). :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Wellllll............ My daughter's name is Jessica ( but the kids picked her name out so we could call her Jessie :rotfl2: )
We have a kitty named tinkerbell ( tink for short) and a hamster named elivs!!

OOOPS! I'm even more guilty. I started this and forgot all the others. Hamsters are named Mickey after ::MickeyMo the "great one" and Mr. Tinkles (from Cats and Dogs). :cat: pug: The :fish: are Chompers (from Land Before Time, Dorey and Bubbles (Nemo) and Figment. :figment: We recently lost our dog Gizmo who was named after a character in Gremlins.

WHAT WAS I THINKING? :confused3 :lmao:

:crazy: Crazy? I don't think so. As I previously posted, my GP is named Sully and I used to have a van named Buster. My new van is named Blue :rolleyes: because Sully was already taken. :teeth: If you're crazy, I guess I am too. :lmao:

We have 2 goldfish named Micky and Minnie :rolleyes: And my kids call my car the Disney Pod or the Mickeymobile, I have a Mickey antenna topper, tinkerbell propped on my dash, fantasia mickey just behind the steering wheel in front of the speedometer (not blocking anything) and there is usually a disney cd of some sort going in my cd player.

Oh yea, there is a pic of my kids in front of the castle hanging from my rear mirror!! Ugh... I am nuts! :confused3

My daughter's name is Jasmine but we didn't think of that when we named her. I love the flower jasmine and that is what we named her after.

Our cat is named Hercules though......

When I was a kid we had 2 cats, Mickey and Minnie.
Last year we had kittens named Merlin and Merryweather.
Starting to run low on "M" Disney names ... I guess our next cats will have to be Mushu and Mulan! Or Maleficent, Mufasa, Mary Poppins, Meeko, Marlin ...

we ahve one animal named after a disney character. My Fiance was given an abused pitbull puppy when he was 16 he brought it home and he asked his dad if he can keep her. He thought about it, he said yes under one condition..that he could name her...His father is the biggest Disney freakand guess which name he picked...NALA. She is the best adn most nicest dog, and her name is very appropriate for her.

We got my daughter a cocker spaniel mix for her first birthday. Her cousin, who was 3 at the time,thought the puppy looked like Dipstick from 101 Dalmations. Needless to say, the name stuck. :figment: :ccat: :hmghost: :dumbo:
