Renting questions??

I am thinking of renting points for BCV. First of all can you rent points for a studio for Fri and Sat and then change to a one bedroom villa Mon-Thurs or is this two reservations?

Cancellation: I know you can cancel 30 days in advance but if you rent points and would need to cancel how does this work- do you keep the points or do they go back to the owner?

Thanks!The cancellation policy would be up to the person you rent from. Most are nonrefundable others keep a hefty deposit. And even though the member could cancel up to 30 days and get their points back, there is still significant potential cost to the member. I could elaborate on the risk to the member but want for now.

Remember you're not really renting the points but merely the reservation. Some renters will allow you to subrent, others will not. You need to get all this down up front with the person you rent from. Changing unit sizes will be 2 reservations and you'd have to check out, then back in again. They could even be from 2 different people or one points and the other cash.
