The new Birnbaum's Disneyland 2002 book just came out. This is published by Disney Editions which is owned by Disney. They announced the Magic Carpets of Aladding in their book before Disney announced it.

Look closely at the note for Superstar Limo in the Disney's California Adventure:
NOTE: SUPERSTAR lIMO MAY BE CLOSED FOR A TUNE-UP DURING YOUR VISIT, OR MAY HAVE A WHOLE NEW LOOK BY THE TIME YOU RIDE.

Does this mean they may actually turn it into Goofy's Superstar Limo?

Where did you see the 2002 edition. I've been checking the DS every time we go and they have not had it available yet. We are going in November and wanted to read the newest edition as I figured it would have all the up to date into about CA.

I have heard talk about "goofy's superstar limo" but no details. I know it will replace superstar limo that most everyone hated (my kids loved it). but what is the ride going to be like, how will they change it or improve it?

Accourding to Jim Hill's latest OrlandoWeekly article, it seems that Disney is getting closer to going forward with Goofy's SupperStar Limo ride.
