My DH is taking me away for my birthday to WDW. He has always wanted to go to Unniversal. I am disabled and due to my illness will not be able to ride the rides will we still have fun?

Of course you will, however, I would suggest you will enjoy it more at night, there is a terrific atmosphere at the parks and with Citywalk too enjoy also
I am sure you will have a great time.

There are a few "show" type things in the park to due. Universal is mainly about the rides though. Not to be nosey, but can you sit through a 3-D show like Shrek or Terminator? One of my favorites is the Horror Make-up show, that's always a lot of fun.

You can't go on any rides at all? If that's the case, I can't imagine it being much different than Disney.

Disabled guests can enjoy:
USF:
Shrek 3D
Terminator 2: 3D
Animal Planet Live
Fear Factor Live
Twister (I believe)
Horror Make-up Show
IOA:
Eighth Voyage of Sinbad
Tony Hawk's Stunt Show (seasonal)
Poseidon's Fury (I believe)
Jurassic Park Discovery Center

DH is registered disabled and the Universal parks are his favourite :thumbsup2
He is able to ride a few of the attractions but not the big coasters etc.
If we're honest we (myself, DH and DD (7) much prefer the atmosphere to WDW

Thanks everyone for your replies!!
I have a seizure disorder and lupus and use a walker. I can sit through the shows, if there is flashing lights I'll just close my eyes! I just can't go on anything that will "shake my brain"
