DL hotels totally booked Feb 21-25???

Does anyone know what convention is in town that has all Disney hotels booked for these dates? This is after spring break so I don't get it! I have been calling nearly every day, hoping for a cancellation and nothing is available. Just seems weird and I want to know who's hogg'in all the rooms! ;) Marilyn

I wonder if it has anything to do with President's day. I've read that it is a popular day to go. Maybe some of the later days are available, but you cant reserve the 21-25 because the earlier days are not?

Looks like you are travelling in the middle of cheerleading competition! Looks like it might be pretty big and they'll be performing at DCA on the 25th. Have fun!

I guess I should avoid visiting this weekend.
Even though I once was a teenager - seems like ages ago the teenagers of today seem so different from when I was one. I am sure I was obnixious too and just as loud but with 'old' age my patience level is less. I better get used to it though as I will have one in a few years......

Thanks everyone! If this event is actually at DCA then I expect there probably will not be any cancellations at the hotels. This explains it all...thanks again...love these boards!! Marilyn ;)

Just keep trying!!! I was having no luck for those days at DLH but I kept calling and finally something opened up... Glad we will be leaving 2/25 morning and will miss all the fun cheerleaders ;)
