My 3 year old is in Love with Typhoon Lagoon. Every day since our October trip, and most days more than once, he asks to go back to "The Water Place". Who knew that he'd remember more about Typhoon Lagoon then about the rest of WDW. I made a couple of Typhoon Lagoon designs. I'm going to make a shirt for him to wear around home.

While I have a little talent (it takes me hours to do a shirt sometimes) I certainly prefer it if someone else does the work. However I am someone who hates to impose, so I will struggle along, rather than ask someone to take time out of their busy schedule to do something I could do myself, albeit, not as well as the original. But I would not want to offend so I am asking if you wouldn't mind, could you please modify the Mickey/Minnie Disneymoon shirt? It is for my MIL.

Ok, that's it, no more. I just get done telling you that there will be no more requests & what do you do but go & post two more fabulous designs that I need. My nephew Sam loves mushu & my mom loves tink. & there they are for everyone to see, two shirts that I really, really like.

I didn't have to wait until today to ask for the shirts. I got them both in email this morning. They are both personalized and beautiful. :banana: :banana: :banana:
It was also much, much easier (for me :badpc: :badpc: ) having the designer redo them. Adding the names would have taken me hours. First you have to decide on the font & I try out 30 of them and then go back to Disney Print (which I have over used at this point). Than I have to match the font color, & then I have to try bunches of attributes and before you know it 3 hours have passed. I am going to spend the next few days organizing and then sending them onto the boys to see which ones they want me to print out.
Sam will be easy as he asked for Mushus, but Nate was kind of vague so I am guessing on what he might like. Thanks again Penny :thumbsup2

I am going to do a prince one. I just need to find 6 good clipart images. They are much harder to find than any other character :confused3 . I think my older 2 boys will like the I'm Not a Prince, but I can still get the little guy to wear an "I'm A Prince" shirt. Dh loves the King design. The next question is what should I wear? All of the Queens are evil and I don't really want an evil shirt :scared: . I'm sure something will come to me eventually.

No I couldn't find the paste into feature or a feature that would allow using a picture as fill. I erased the center of the letters which I left white. Then I inserted the character, moved it back a layer and erased anything that was outside of the letter. I had to do that for each letter. Time consuming, but it came out ok.

HI Deb! We are going on our first Disney cruise (very last minute) and I have been loosing sleep over tshirts & door signs! Is it possible to make the Princess alpahbet with a different princess in each letter? I have a Princess FAITH (can you put a different princess in each letter?..Cinderella, Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel). I also have a Princess HOPE (who is a baby...maybe it could be Baby Princess HOPE). Is it even possible to do this? I'm not sure how the alphabet is set up!

Then I was thinking a little deeper (really, thinking "oh, no, I'm digging myself a hole!) and thought maybe DH & I could have matching T-shirts that say King DEMPSEY & Queen KYM.

Hmmm..I'm creative on paper (scrapbooking) but not good with the computer stuff. Also, with an infant, it sure does limit the time to try to play with it!

Just subscribing....I love what you guys are doing with these books. I want to make one for DS9's first WDW trip in 43 more days. I have no clue where to start. How do you guys make the pages? I've seen some made by others but don't want to steal anyone's ideas. Any tips/suggestions are welcomed. You can also PM me to send me in the right direction.

We start by finding character clipart that we like. Once you locate the clipart save it to your harddrive. Access the clipart through whatever design program that you choose. I use photoimpact 10. From there you can add working or borders etc. The sky is the limit. Have fun.

I'm really interested in making a book for my DS9 and he's starting to get excited also. If we are able to make this together he'd love it even more. Imagine the difficulty I have. Everytime I come up with a new design I think that I will make us shirts with that design, but I know that I will come up with 10 others between now and the time we go. I think I'll have to wait until a week or two before we go and decided then :rotfl:

Pocahontas is a tough one because of the length of her name. To fit it on a page the characters get pretty small. Could I do your daughter's name with Pocahontas in the letters? maybe Pocahontas's biggest fan below your daughter's name?

Actually, I'd love to see lots more of Jasmine. Dd8 is a huge Jasmine fan, and I'm trying to find designs to iron onto jeans. It would be even better if they were Christmasy pics of Jasmine. Oh, and Cinderella too for dd6!
