Well, our vacation is fast approaching and I am no where near ready and am freaking out a bit as we leave in one week and our cruise documents have not arrived yet! Everyone else on the Cruise thread has their document and the travel agent I used just said to call them on Friday if they haven't arrived! Just another thing to get worried about!
We're going to fly out of Buffalo (staying at Homewood Suites night before)and then will be staying at the Ron Jon Caribe Resort in Cape Canaveral for 2 nights and then do the 4 day Wonder Cruise and then 3 days at Coronado/WDW. So if anyone has any questions I'll be able to answer them upon return! :cheer2:
So after DD skating competition this Saturday is out of the way, I have told family that we are dedicating Sunday to trying on clothes, laundry and packing! THis is our first winter family vacation, and I'm finding it hard to wrap my mind around packing bathing suits and shorts!
Starting to get excited - especially with the bitter wind outside right now! Jo

Jo,
Have fun on the cruise! We certainly enjoyed our time on the Magic. My kids got hooked on cruising after that trip. Since then we've completed 2 other cruises (not Disney).
I would be interested in hearing about CSR. The kids and I will be staying there for 2 nights at the end of March. We are very excited.
We don't leave for another 2 months, but I want to start packing already. This weekend's task is to get passport applications completed, as our current ones expire this summer.

Bev R - I"ll certainly let you know how we liked the Coronado. We stayed there once about 5 years ago and from what I recall, we liked it, but my memory is foggy on it - don't think we spent a lot of time at the actual resort - too busy in the parks
Janet - I'll be bringing home all the navigators and would be happy to photocopy and mail you a set - or if I can figure out how to scan, could also do that! What are your kids ages - I'll be getting the ones for the kids clubs for ages 5-7 and 8-9. If you have other ages let me know and I'll try to get a copy of those too.
Yzma (or is it Kronk!) - My DD skates out of the Scarborough Figure Skating Club and is competing in Ajax this weekend. She also is competing in Brampton 5 days after we get back! This skating thing can get out of control quickly! But what can I do, she loves it!
Sammi - are we on the same flight (Fri am)!?? Or are you going down Thurs. night?? It's a great way to fly - not to mention the $$$ savings - $770 USD for the 4 of us...and I still keep trying for a DING to get that down

You don't have to worry about the Kids Club Navs for me! DD is 14 but if you could get the one for age 10. There is someone else that will be travelling at that time and her DS is 10 and I'm sure he would like to see what is happening!
TIA, Happy Sailing!

Jo-Anne we leave on the 7:25 AM flight on Thursday. We're spending the night before at a hotel with a park-n-fly package. :sunny: :sunny:
We paid $112.00 CND total for each of us and that's an amazing price that we couldn't refuse! Love that DING! :thumbsup2 We also just found out the other day that we're going back again in November to stay with my cousin at their timeshare in Cypress Pointe Resort! :goodvibes
I'll be sure and warm up your seat for you for Friday morning! Have a great flight! :sunny: :sunny:

My DD skates our of Burlington and we have one in Stoney Creek next weekend and then in Kitchener in two weeks after that. We are in the Western division - I believe Scarborough is Central, this is why we won't be crossing paths. BTW - I'm the one who used to live in Atlanta - not sure if you made the connection.
Have a great trip!
