We are going to be at DisneyWorld From Oct 22-28/06. I've never been there this close to Halloween. Is the park decorated for Halloween. Should my grandaughter take a costume with her. What kinds of things can I look forward to and should I make any kinds of advance planning.

Thanks

Take a costume for all and go to Mickey's not so scary halloween party. My 2 had loads of fun at this in 2004 and we are doing it again this October.

There's also the food and wine festival!

Not alot of decorations during normal hours but they do put out a few during the halloween party. Do go to the party and bring her costume. Lots of trick or treating.

Yes Definately go to MNSSHP! :thumbsup2

The parades is Great! The Hallowishes Fireworks were Spectacular!

Also try to get ADR's for Liberty Tree Tavern as the Characters are dressed up there! Foods pretty good too! :rotfl2:

It's a Grand time to be at WDW!

Hey - we'll be there the same time as you in Oct.

I would try for Mickey's not so scary Halloween Party (and don't forget the costume for you as well!). They have a special parade and fireworks and of course trick or treating around the park.

Another vote for MNSSHP - wear a costume yourself too!! Lots of adults dress up for it and go trick or treating.

The parade is great as is seeing the characters dressed up.

We'll be there around the same time too!

Another vote for MNSSHP, and try to get an early ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern. It was all so much fun! My only advice would be to try for a night during the week, rather than the weekend, and definitely NOT on Hallowe'en night, as they tend to be even busier. We went on a Thurs and it was great! I think they have a sticky-thread over on the theme parks board that will tell you when the tickets go on sale. It's definitely worth the money.

MNSSHP is awesome, we went for the first time this year and will be back when DD is older.

Do not forget to dress up. Not all folks did but I the families that did all seem to be the ones having the best time. A halloween T-shirt just doesn't do it!!! Where else can a banker dress up like Robin Hood and not feel silly?
