Xmas decorations at Disney

How long is Disney decorated for Christmas? We are going down this year to spend with my parents(they winter in Florida) but want to avoid the crowds. If we plan to visit Disney the first week of January will it still be decorated? We are going for 2 weeks, one off site at my parents place & one site so we can go the first week of January or the week BEFORE Christmas.

If memory serves they come down shortly after new years they go up in Nov early on.

We were there in Jan 2005, arrived on Jan 6th - the decorations were still up at the resorts and some in EPCOT. MK/MGM had nothing up, and the resort decorations came down 2 days after we arrived.

They are truly a sight to see, so if you can swing it, I highly recommend it!

We arrived this year on Jan. 5th, and the decorations were still up until about the 11th.
The decorations are wonderful to see, although I must admit I could have done without the Christmas music.

We just got back on the 9th and had arrived on the 30th. The decorations were all up for quite a while. We noticed though, that the resorts were quicker to take them down, but the parks had them up right until we left. We were even able to see the beautiful Osborne Spectacle of Lights! We spent the 30th going from resort to resort to see how they were decorated and took pics. It was a lot of fun!
