Hello,
I have just been to simon veness's website and found the least/busy days for january - they are very different to the guide of least/busy days at touringplans.com.
Help - i am confused - who do i go with?

Again, I have followed Simons advice on both of my trips and he didnt let me down - Obviously I have no idea what was going on in the other parks but the one I was in was pretty much as expected.

From what I understand of trying to work out who is right, it depends when those early/late magic days are. The book from touring plans say that magic days tend to be busier.
Last year I used tourguide Mike. I went on what was suppose to be a quite day, but the park was really busy. Mind you it had been raining for 4 days prior to that. So I guess they can only go on past history. If Disney keep changing their Extra magic hours then it's very difficult to predict. You could try e-mailing simon to ask.
Do any of them tie in with those days.

Hi there folks. We have been alerted to this discrepancy by several readers recently and it looks like what has happened is that we up-dated the Busy Day Guide in the book (Page 313) at the very last minute to take advantage of the latest info we had on Disney's EMH programme (which must have changed a hundred times last year  ) and the up-dates weren't taken into the text on Page 30 for some reason (probably because they are edited in order). However (!), Disney have, of course, changed the EMH system yet again since we published, so BOTH pages are now out of date ( :furious: ). So, what we are recommending is that people take notice first and foremost of the Busy Day Guide as up-dated on our website at this link:
http://www.askdaisy.net/orlando/park_updates.htm
I am literally in the process of adding a bunch of up-dates right now (as of 6.40pm EST!), and these should be uploaded in the next 24 hours. So, hopefully, Disney WON'T change EMH again next week!!! Of course, when they do (and April already looks horrible for different hours), we will amend things accordingly.
I'm now going off for a lie-down in a darkened room........... :teeth:

This may sound like a silly question, but why do Disney keep changing them?

Because they can! :teeth:
Hours change in response to projected attendances - if more crowds are predicted (based on resort bookings), then the hours are increased.
Not sure why they change the EMH days though. Although they may change if there is a national holiday during the month and they change the EMH days to manage the crowds.

Maybe an idea to bump or sticky this thread or a one post thread and lock it down including a link when Simon has fully updated the askdaisy site.
