any room discounts in March?

My husband and I would like to get away for a long weekend at the beginning of March to WDW (since we are buying AP's this Dec. when we go with the kids). Apparently, the cost of the moderates at this time is $200/night. That's pretty high to me! Does anyone know of any discounts the first weekend in March? We've got DC, AP & AMEX... anything?

I'm with you Sandra, my family and I have reservations at Pop Century for March 8-16 (peak season rate) and I sure hope Disney releases some type of discount. I don't know of anything we can do except wait. With our fingers crossed of course!!!

In March of 1999, I did get an AP discount at Port Orleans - Riverside (was DL then) starting the first weekend and continuing through that next week. I don't think the AP was announced until mid-January and I called and made the reservation. So, hang on to your reservation and watch the boards! Good luck!
