Weather and crowds last week of April?

DH and I planning a trip Apr. 26-29. What kind of weather and park crowds should we expect? We are going no matter what, we'd just like to know what to plan for! Thanks!

The weather is usually dry and warm high 60's low 70's.

Expect crowds.

The kids fly free promo ends on April 27. Which means the trip needed to start by that date. Plus, the S. CA 2-fer deal ends on April 27. I would expect the few days leading up to and including April 27 to be very busy!

Can you believe we're going April 26 -30? I didn't even know about the special and I'm not eligible for the $150 gift card because we're not checking out by the 27th sniff :(. Oh well, it least the locals will be gone after the 27th :).

We're planning to go about a week after this. I was pretty bummed that we miss the kids fly free thing, the adult tickets at the kids price, and the $150 giftcard by a few days. We could have taken advantage of at least one of those promotions. But I guess knowing it will be less crowded when we're there is a big plus.

We were there the last week of April last year. We wore layers - the kids were in pants w/ sweatshirts in the morning and tee shirts midday. It cooled off significantly at night. We were lucky and never got rained on - but April is still very much part of the So Cal rainy season. Have fun!

We went the end of April in '04. It was perfect weather all week, and really HOT one day! It did get chilly in the evening, but we were in shorts during the day. No crowds at all and we had a fabulous time. Hope your trip is as wonderful.
