Try sliding the hold switch back and forth 3-4 times. press and hold the play and menu button until it turns on. You may have to try this more than once.

While I don't have an iPod (so I don't know what works), there's a good chance your iPod just needs to be "rebooted" like a computer. Here are some solutions you could try:

http://macs.about.com/od/ipod/a/ipod_frozen.htm

http://www.methodshop.com/mp3/ipodsupport/restart/index.shtml

http://www.apple.com/support/ipod/five_rs/

Hope this helps!

what got it working again?

I would be interested to know that too.

Glad everything worked out well ~ I would be lost without my ipod for my workouts.

apriln's site
methodshop.com

definitely put this site in your favorites! :earseek:

NYcpa would have worked if I had that type of ipod..........
actually, there are a few different ways to reset depending on which one you have.........methodshop explains the different type and reset ways!

You're quite welcome. I just stuck "ipod frozen" in Google and the links I posted were the ones that looked the most helpful. Glad to hear it worked!

lol! i always forget the world is at my fingertips! :confused3

even when looking for a movie time, I willleave the computer desk to go get the newspaper on the kitchen table to find out what time the movies start. :rotfl2:

I will sit a wait :sad2: for a news story on TV ("this story and more at 11:00, do';t change that channel" they say')...............instead of going on line!

what can I say I am old fashion! lol :thanks:
