I've always gotten good advice how how to ? but never had anything that would help anyone until now:smooth: Someone once posted that if you take your web certificate number and exp date to TDS and have the CM manually put the # in you could buy $DD without having to pay the $6.95 for the plastic card. Well I finally got enough points to get the Webbie and off I went to TDS well it worked like a charm!!:bounce: :bounce: I hope this little bit of advice can help someone!!

This is great! I was a little confused about the whole webcert and card idea, and I'm almost ready to get my first webcert from my points. So, can you help me? I assume I check the box on my points that I want a certificate for 25.00 (that's how much I've earned) What happens next? Did you print out the certificate, or do you get mailed something? Please let me know, I am so excited about the DD! I plan to use them at the restaurants, Hoping to get some meals cheaply!

Sure I'll be glad to help you!!! I feel so honored this is the first time anyone has asked me for help!! I'm not real good with computers so besides all the good advice I get from these boards most of the time it's trail and error!!!:confused: Anywasy back to your question I jussst clicked on to order my certificate the in a few days I got an email with instructions to activate it. Well being the computer whizz I am (HAHAHA):jester: :jester: :confused:
I couldn't figure out what to do to get it activated so some one on these boards had a phone # so I called and they were sooo nice activated the card over the phone:) from there I got the account # from the webcertificate website and went to TDS and explained the whole rewards program to the CM just in case the card did'nt work I didn't what her to think I wsa over my limit or had an expired or stolen card. I think I had her a little confused but she put the account # manually in and lo and behold it worked!!! I walked out of there with ten DD and very very happy!!!! The phone # 1-800-511-1781 just in casse you'd need it Good luck and let me know how things went!! Glad to have been of help!!!

So let me get this straight - you didn't get the plastic card that acts like a mastercard? YOu just got the account number off of the webcertificate site? Thanks a lot for the phone number, I've already stored it with my info about the various reward programs. I can hardly wait to get the DD. We're going in Aug 2002, it's too far away!

No I didn't get the plastic card (I saved the $6.95 charge!!) After I talked to the people over the phone and they activated my account I went on the web certificate and got my account # and took that along with the exp date to TDS and got my $DD the account # is set up just like a MC Or Visa card. Gee I wass happy with $10 how did you get $25 good for you!!!:bounce: :bounce: Good luck ane let me know how things turn out
