When will Southwest expand their ressies past 1/11/02?

It seems like Southwest has been booking to 1/11/02 forever. When will they be opening up the schedule past this date?

I called SWA just a few days ago and asked that very question. The girl I spoke to looked at her newsletter and it did not say, so she did a history to see when they were released last year. Well, last year they extended into Feb. on Sept 13th. She said they may be holding off due to everything that has gone on. She said to keep check every day because it should happen soon !

Unfortunately, I did not keep the email, but the email I received from them either last week or the week before announced that you could now start booking through June (or July). Anyone else get their weekly emails? If so, read the entire thing - it's in there somewhere. There may have even been a link.

Their site states they are accepting ressie up to 1/11/02, nothing more yet.

Tarmand, that e-mail from Southwest extended the double credit for the Rapid Reward program. It was not about extending the booking window. That still stands at January 11, 2002.

I'm waiting too for January 17th and 27th to open up.

I'm waiting for Jan 26 to Feb 3 to open. Just got my e-mail from Southwest & was surprised that the dates had not been extended yet.

the voice mail tells you that they are only booking through Jan 11th. I was trying to compare their fares with Continental, since Continental just went up on their fares for next year (from $260 to $311 from Houston.) They also have reduced the number of flights out of Houston (or they are all booked for Feb 26th. I don't know which. I just know the times I usually travel are not available.)
