Hi everyone:
Probably the highest honor that I can bestow upon someone here on the site is the title of Assistant Webmaster. As you all know, this site is like a child to me, and the Assistant Webmasters are, in my view, like surrogate parents. The requirements for an Assistant Webmaster are strict. They must be exceptionally talented, have a long history with the site, and have shown their character to be above reproach during the most difficult of situations.
Our newest Assistant Webmaster is just such a person. During the course of the last few years, he has handled some very tenuous and difficult situations with amazing grace and patience. In so many cases he has been the voice of reason amid the clamor of chaos and anger.
So, it is with great pleasure that I announce our newest Assistant Webmaster, Rob Lindsey (aka Doc). Rob has been around the DIS for quite some time, and I have had the pleasure of meeting both him, and his wife Liz, on many occasions. I can tell you that he is truly a first class human being, and has been an absolutely tremendous asset to the site in his role as moderator. Not to mention, he is married to the sweetest woman you will ever meet.
I am honored that Rob has accepted our invitation, and would ask all of you to join me in congratulating him in his new role.
