I know there are lots of "challenges" going on ~so if there is a challenge to just get through the day on your plan one - let me know BUT here's what I challenged my buddies with today (and ohMom is one and a taker on it too)

Mini-challenge – just for today - c'mon YOU can do it !!!

Every time you start to graze/eat off your plan – STOP – visualize yourself wearing something you "long" to wear! (for me it’s a return to my denim size 8 (yes – they are cut generous, but still size 8 capris)

AND

Do 10 tummy/butt isometric pull-ins – 10 arm over the head reach to the opposite side stretches – 10 hands clasped, palms up and raised above our heads – - then if you MUST have the craving food – go ahead and have it

Wanna join us today :goodvibes

Count me in, Grammy! I really should be in the one hour at a time challenge, but I will try my best. My challenge today is to not get discourged by looking at the WHOLE picture ~~ I can't lose 35 pounds today ~~ but I can eat right and head in the right direction.
Good luck and have a great day :goodvibes

How is it going today for you ? I am doing okay - taking a break and having a cup of coffee (with a flavored creamer) as my afternoon treat - just thought I would check on you ::yes::

I hear ya on the -whole picture deal - all of the extra gone in one day - wouldn't that be fantabulous!!!!

Hi everyone,

Bev,
Thanks for the note today. I needed a kick in the butt! I'll send you a personal response in a bit.

teachingmykids,
Its definately about not looking about the whole picture. You have the right attitude with looking at it like each little thing will have you moving in the right direction!!

I definately need a challenge. I've done pretty well since the beginning of the year on eating (except last night). I've been OP, but last night we went to TGI Friday's and I had a couple small pieces of the chicken finger appetizer (it has a glaze on it), a pecan crusted chicken salad and two brownies at home. I didn't let it get me down though. I know I will have days like this and with "the time of the month" lurking any day now I think I was craving bad things.

I have only exercised once this month. I don't know why I can't get in gear. I've had exercise clothes on twice and then talked myself out of it. Part of it is my basement is so dang cold and then I just want to go back up stairs. DH laughed at me the other day and said if I would exercise I wouldn't be cold anymore...........HE IS SO RIGHT!

My one day at a time challenge to myself is to get exercise in tonight. Some form of it, no matter how little. I'll post when I'm done.

Hi everyone,

Thanks Bev for giving me that kick in the butt. I did 40 minutes of the Biggest Loser DVD tonight.

I'm also committing to getting up in the morning (Keeping fingers crossed I do it) and exercising. Wish me luck! I know once I get back into the groove it will be a piece of cake. I got a lot of moving to do to make my 1200 minutes for the month. I'm at 105, lol! :confused3

I gained .2 this week at WW WI, considering what I ate last night at TGIF I'll take it.

My one day at a time challenge today is to eat one more piece of fruit before dinner today. I am not a big fruit eater but just had a banana for breakfast.

Thanks Bev for the challenge.

I did fairly well yesterday, how about y'all? It's another day and another challenge! I'm just going to look at TODAY, I've already done 30 minutes of Tae Bo, some sit ups and will be going to the gym with DD this afternoon.
What is your challenge today?

We'll I had really good intentions of getting up this morning. Alarm clock was set, clothes laid out. After I got done working out last night, eating and finding out I still had 3 points left plus 1.5 in AP I just earned I realized it was almost 11:30pm and I needed to get to bed. I drank so much water I kept getting up to go to the bathroom. I couldn't fall asleep and then when I finally did I woke up at 3:30am to go again to the bathroom and DS8 was standing in the dark near my bed- scared me to death when he said mommy in complete darkness! After several unsuccessful tries to get him back to bed he ended up with us. There was a huge storm last night with wind gusts in the 50's. I could hear my patio furniture (should be in the garage-not sure why it isn't) and my awning banging around outside. I didn't fall asleep till after 5am. A little after 5 I reset my alarm clock till my normal waking time. I was so tired this morning. It figures the only time I can sleep is when its time to get up. :confused3

So, not that I should be making excuses but I was just too tired this morning to get up. I'll make sure I exercise again tonight although it will be late again. DH is working late all week and Ryan has CCD tonight.

So- My challenge is to make sure I get in at least 40 minutes of exercise tonight.

Teaching my kids- Great job on getting the exercise in today.

Tammy- Glad your joining the challenge! Let us know what you have! I've been trying to make sure I get more fruit in too. I brought a huge orange to have after my lunch today. I had one for lunch yesterday too. It was so sweet!

Melanie, don't be hard on yourself for not doing it this morning. You might just be a night person. I think we get ideas about the way things SHOULD be and then mad at ourselves for not living up to them. I just happen to be a morning person ~~ I'd gladly go to bed at 8:30pm if I could get away with it. I'm just not worth anything at night! Do what's best for you WHEN it's best for you!
