AAA -vs - other Discounts

I had a question with regards to discounts. I have a AAA membership and was quoted a rate of $1022 for 10/28-11/4 at the carribean beach. I am not an AP holder or Florida resident. How does this rate compare to other non-AP/non FL resi rates. Meaning I see sometimes the discount codes come out. Are they generally better or worse then the AAA.

I am trying to see if we could affor the Moderates or need to stay at the Value and was not sure if the rate I have is the best I am going to get or not. Thanks

I think AAA offers a decent discount. Public codes are seen less & less, especially room-only codes. You can always book AAA, & if a better rate comes out, try & have your AAA agent apply the code. I say try, because there are only so many rooms set aside for the code/discount & once they are gone...
