We're going to go on our first airplane ride with our son soon. He's 2 and I'm going to use the Cosco Touriva for his car seat on the plane and in the rental car. (His Triumph at home is too big to lug around). I read on some of the other posts that he wouldn't be able to use the fold down tray on the seat in front of him because he would be sitting up too high in his carseat. What do you do for a tray? I'd like him to have a surface to keep his drink/snacks/toys on. Or do you just use the tray in the seat next to you? :confused3
Thanks!!

That is the same seat we use and you are correct, it sits up too high to let you use the tray for that seat. We always just put everything on the tray next to his. It's not terribly convenient however on the plane there aren't many options unfortunately. I still would rather have ds in his car seat though than right on the planes' seat. He is much more comfortable in it and I just know he would spend the whole time playing with the lap belt buckle if he had access to it. :)
