Hiya
I was trying to remember if theres a Disney at home shop at dtd? as I am wanting to buy loads of stuff for the kitchen of our new house (when we get it) on our next trip. My dbf bought me the mickey bottle opener with a red handle and black ears this year which has got me hooked, but I dont know where to get the rest of the items from, or what other items are offered?
Does anyone else out there know where I can get house hold disney items when I am in the states and also where I can look up prices.
I can wait to have a disney kitchen!! I have just got a beautiful winnie the pooh tea pot from the peter jones sale.
Any one else have disney themed rooms?

Mickey's Pantry in the Marketplace is the store for you! Our kitchen is full of Mickey stuff, from salad bowls to bottle openers! Last time we bought a couple of beautiful latte glasses with etched Mickey heads, as well as a few more Mickey bottle stoppers (you can't have too many bottle stoppers). I can't seem to leave that place without buying something!! :goodvibes
ETA: Just found some pics from inside the store: here (http://www.laughingplace.com/Lotion-View-86-6.asp)!

I loved the Disney at Home Shop though I was quite good last time we went! My Inlaws bought me the whisk to match your bottle opener Anna last time they were there!
Is the Mickey's Pantry shop new? I can't imagine I'd not have spent lots in there had I seen it :sunny:

Hey Anna
Yes there is the shop in the Marketplace, and there is also a small shop as you walk up Hollywood Boulevard (on the right hand side). I bought a Mickey Mouse shower curtain, soap dish and beaker in there.
My kitchen has got the Mickey Mouse plates/bowls that were being sold in the Disney Store over here, I also got 6 matching mugs and Tea/Coffee/Sugar jars. I also got some Mickey tea-towels from Wal-Mart.
And all over my living room/kitchen there are loads of the little ornaments of the different characters that I got in WDW (they were only around $10 ea) and I've got quite a few nice photo frames.
I love buying bits for my home too, I think there is something Disney related in every room of my house (but there's nothing in the garage :rotfl: )

Sadly the Disney At Home store is no more - I used to LOVE that shop and always came out loaded with things to take home.
Other stores are there now - and of course the Wonderful World Of Disney Store carries many of the items you could get there.
The stores in DD Marketplace are listed here :-

I was really sad when that closed too, Shirley :(
I found the ranges to be quite good at the shops described above though, thank goodness.
Anna - we have bought quite a bit of kitchenware (mugs, bowls, jars, cutlery etc) from the Disney Store (UK) over the years. I don't remember being that impressed by the Disney Store (US) last trip for kitchenware but that could well be because it's not Disney-owned any longer
On the other hand, Disneydirect.com has an excellent range of all things for the home - including full size furniture! That's assuming you were prepared to and could afford the shipping charges - but I do like to look in any case :)

When DH and I got engaged DFIL was working at Orlando Airport and he managed to get a flight back with a full dinner service - cups, bowls, plates, salad bowls, etc and ALL of it made it to us in one piece for our engagement gift
Needless to say it only comes out of the cupboard on special occasions or if we have been to lazy to put the dishwasher on! :teeth:
We also have loads of stuff in the kitchen from the dtd shop, I always spend up when we go there!

When we built our extension, we kitted our bathroom out in Disney - tiles, soap holder, mug, clock etc. It's a real talking point & much of it is discrete. Luckily we have friends in the States, so we often order to them & then they bring it back when they fly home. Unfortunately they move back to the uK this yeear, so I guess we'll have to just visit more frequently!

I tried convincing DH that Mickey taps would be a good idea in the "family bathroom" but he wouldn't let me... A few months later we were re-doing the ensuite bathroom and he wanted a border of Asterix tiles! Not a chance..!
