Adventurer's Club Mini- Meet

Hi guys,

DH and I will be hosting the Adventurer's Club mini- meet on Thursday, 11- 29, at 10:30pm. We'll be leaving the TOT event a little early to head on over to Pleasure Island, so that we're there in time to greet fellow DIS'ers. I haven't seen much response from people planning on attending this mini-meet, and am interested to see if anyone is planning on attending. Any show of hands out there? There is a seperate admission required for Pleasure Island, if it's not included on your park passes.

FYI - If you buy the 5-day convention pass that Linda mentioned was available for $230, it comes with 5 "plus" options one of which you could use at Pleasure Island.

I would but I can't keep my schedule straight. Is that the same night as the DATW II?

DATW is the next day so, that would be after the Fantasmic Dessert and TOT combo? It sure sounds like a great idea to me!!!

Does anyone know how much admission is to PI??? I have an A.P. but its only for the parks- Also is there an additional charge to go in the Adventurers Club???

Admission to PI is $21.00/night and that gains admission to all of the clubs.

And let me add one more for the meet (if I can stay awake). I'm like Livia. I never felt comfortable going by myself.

I'll try to make it. There is always a 20% discount coupon in the tourist book they hand out at the airport. I'm not sure how many people may use 1 coupon. Anyone besides me using the coupon? I can pick up several when I get in.

I'm staying at the Y/B Club. I'm pretty sure Steve is, too. I'm sure they'll be quite a few of us heading back that way.

I will try to make it if I can find a place to leave my children for an hour or so. I'm staying at the BWV, I wonder is they have a kids club, have to check. My Mom will be with me on this trip so maybe both of us can attend.

We are planning to come - not sure how many will make it but I would say at least 4 out of 8 probably.

Is this 21 and over? I thought under 21 could do AC as long as parent.

If not - NurseKim - may be your sister would like to hang with my son - 17 and fairly cute - DQ may be an option for them.

Thanks everyone, for replying. I was getting nervous that DH and I would be the only two there. I've only been to the Adventurer's Club once, with kids in tow, and that was several years ago, and DH has never been, so we'll all be discovering it together! It should be lots of fun from what I've read about it.:D

I thought you told us when we were at the Cape Cod DIS meet that you weren't going to be able to attend DIS-Con. I'm so happy that you are now going!! DH and I had a great time talking to you. This convention is going to be the best ever!:D

When I told Sue that this was the first ever DIS-con, she finally gave in to my whining and gave me permission to go. I have known for over a month and was trying to keep my attendance a secret, but it was getting increasingly difficult to make concrete plans (like the AC meet) without letting people know that I was attending. I had a great time at Cape Cod and look forward to spending time with you and your DH. :)

Do they serve any milk drinks at the Adventurer's Club? Any virgin pina coladas? I was disappointed that Jellyrolls didn't serve frozen drinks, so I had to settle for a Sprite!
