Yes, she was awful. She didn't do any skating and was really just led around by her partner. Good to see how quickly people have picked up basics of skating.

I enjoyed it alot. I think it's much harder for the blokes though, they have to lead and lift their partners whereas the girls can just get pulled along!

I actually watched this last night, it was quite good, it hasn't grabbed me the way Strictly Come Dancing did, but it was still worth watching. I laughed my head off when Andi Peters took his partner out during the introductions at the beginning :lmao: I was amazed at how well some of the Celebs were skating, but it was obvious that Andi was going to go

Andi Peters went Kaylee. The dance off was between him and Stefan. Although Stefan wasn't great, Andi was worse.

Am I the only one who thinks that Bonnie Langford doesn't seem to do a lot of skating compared to the others - she spends most of her time in the air. Even when she's skating, her partner is lifting her every few seconds.

I think John Barrowman is excellent and I hope he wins - I loved their routine last night :thumbsup2

ITA Mandy - I think Stefan is the better skater overall. On a completely different topic, am I the only one who thinks John Barrowman would make an excellent Superman - he looks just like Clark Kent with his glasses on :)

I read in an interview that he very nearly got the part of Will in "Will and Grace", he said he is soooo gutted he didnt get it as that programme is so huge!

ITA Jen - I do think last night wasn't one of his better performances but he was definitely the best male celebrity IMO - not to mention he was pretty easy on the eye too ;) Don't know if the programme will have the same attraction now he's gone :sad2:

Still struggling to understand how one of the best skater (along with Bonnie) was put out last night. I was shocked that he was in the skate off and thought it would be a unanimous decision to keep John - how wrong was I? I alwasy vote for John but last night gave David a sympathy vote instead seeing as he was skating with a new partner and he fell and it looks like lots of others did the same so it goes to show noone is safe and your vote DOES count. I really want Kelly out - she is a poor skater and so arrogant.

I agree with your opinion about Kelly - I think she should have gone last night. However, I don't agree about Bonnie - I actually don't think her skating skills are that great - the fact that she can do lots of showy lifts and stuff give her the edge and make her appear better than she is. For some reason, I have just taken an instant dislike to her which is one of the main reasons I'm so gutted that John is out as I think she will probably go on to win now.

I do think Bonnie is brilliant but put it down to her being a dancer but last night one of the judges said it was all the more harder for Bonnie because she is a dancer - couldn't work that one out?

Mandy - it was John and Stefan. I still can't believe 3 judges voted Stefan over John. The celebs were all gobsmacked - in fact one camera panned to Andi Peters in the crowd and he could quite clearly be seen saying OH MY GOD! I think that's how everyone felt.

I was pleased to see that Stefan wasn't in the bottom two last night. It's getting really tough now and when it was down to Sean (Martin Platt) and Kelly, I was pleased that Sean went. I'm getting a bit miffed at Bonny doing so well, *** she's great at all the acrobatic stuff but isn't very good at skating on her own :confused3

I do think the judges made the right choice in voting Kelly to stay last night as she did the better performance. I agree that Sean probably wouldn't have improved any more - they did struggle with lifts and things, although he was a good enough skater :)

I think Bonnie should be voted off next week - she can't hold her own when both feet are on the ice. Yes, she's good in the air but that's not through any particular skill - why oh why can't the judges see past her acrobatics :confused3

I like Bonnie! I know shes not as good at skating as she is at the lifts but the lfts are so amzing it makes up for it! The one she did last night was spectacular!

I want Dame Kelly to go next - she is so arrogant and thinks she's better than she is. My DH thinks she looks like a bloke on the ice *** she has no grace or elegance :rotfl2:

I'd like David Seaman to win - I think he's the best celebraty skater.

I agree with what others have said about Bonnie - her partner is literally carrying her through it so she should go after Kelly does ;)

What a cracking show it was tonight. I thought all the celebs upped their game and I was sooooo pleased when Stefan and Gaynor (my two faves) didn't have to do the skate-off. I thought Kelly would go tonight, as Bonnie is pretty much safe with the judges. I would've loved to see Davids routine, it looked really good (I love that Liberty X song), but his partner did hit the ice badly and need stitches.

Did they say that the final is in two weeks ? Wow, that's gone quick and I'm really looking forward to it

I thought tonight's show was brilliant - full of thrills and spills. Bonnie was amazing as was Stefan - he has come on leaps and bounds. Gaynor as alwasy put in a good performance and I'm glad to say Kelly was the poorest so she deserved to go. Poor Pam, that fall looked nasty and their routine looked really good too, shame they never got the chance to perform. It'll be hard next week as they've all improved so much - Karen will shed some more tears no doubt! I really don't know who I want to win as John was my favourite. :sad1:

As the audience has the vote next week, hopefully that means that Bonnie won't win. As she and Stefan were on equal points and Stefan got through, that would suggest he is more popular with the general public :) I think Gaynor is getting better and better (and I agree with Hilary that her partner looks scrummy in those glasses :love: )

LOL I love this thread! :teeth: We watched it last night having missed three weeks due to being at WDW, and couldn't believe John had gone and Stephan and Gaynor were good!
So I knew just where to come to find out what on earth had been happening!

Sad to see David go, I thought they did so well in the skate off, and Bonnie got marks from the judges based on PAST performances, which can't be fair.

I think that it was terrible that David was voted out - at least he could skate unlike Bonnie - she actually spent milliseconds standing on her skates the rest of the time she was being lifted and flinging her legs all over the place, not actually skating which is surely what they are being judged on not on how well the partner can lift them!! I really hope that Bonnie does not WIN

I actually think Stefan didn't perform as well on the second routine but I thought both he and Gaynor (and I'll even concede to Bonnie in this instance ;) ) were fantastic on the first routine. I still want Gaynor to win though (Bonnie is great in the air but she can't skate)

I am so glad gaynor won, bonnie was always in the air and as a dancer had the flexibility and was always flung about!

I thought tonights show was FANTASTIC !! Torville and Dean opening with The Bolero was fab, and I wasn't over keen on the routines with the 'wire'. I was so pleased to see Bonnie go out first, as she may be great at being flung around - but I am STILL waiting for her to skate. I thought that both The Bolero's by Stefan and Gaynor were excellent - but I was thrilled to bits to see Gaynor win
