In order to book at an AP rate, you must present the annual pass at check in? I have not purchased the pass yet but plan to do so before arriving on April 13, 2006. I will arrive at 12 midnight...is it possible to exchange a voucher for a pass at this late hour? If not...is there any way to get my hands on a pass beforehand. I live in upstate NY and will not be able to get to Florida before my trip. If not...I cannot book at the AP rate.

You can check in with a voucher. It can be mailed to you as long as you order at least 2 weeks in advance, but I would recommend asap just to be safe.

When I called CR...I was told that I needed the actual pass...I was advised not to cancel my AAA rate. Has anybody checked in with a voucher?

I was told when I booked POFQ at an AP last week that I needed to present an exchange voucher *OR* an AP at check in.

I believe that they used to say AP pass only, not voucher, until the best rate plan came out last year. With the new AP rates that just came out that are good through 4/13 they are saying AP or AP voucher, so I guess they modified the rules a little.

If you have the Voucher the worst that will happen will be a request that you activate it & come back with the pass.

Last year I purchased my AP at the airport. I was given the pass not a voucher.

I had 3 rooms booked with an AP rate in November. No one mentioned the AP or asked to see it at check in. I wouldn't worry about just having a voucher.

They let you book a room online with a voucher, so obviously it is allowed
