from WDW to Tampa?

hi: since us air changed 3 of our 4 flights for november, i called continental. now they do have openings for our travel dates. i can get a direct flight from newark to orlando, but not from orlando back to newark. i can fly direct from Tampa to newark on the date i need. the csr i spoke with said it takes about an hour and a half to get to tampa from orlando. anyone fly out of tampa- is the airport conveniently laid out? is national car rental on site there for a drop off? any opinions or thoughts? tia, dee

Tampa is a very easy airport to get in and out of. The layout is easy. It takes, depending on your flight time and where you have to drop the car, about 1-1.5 hours from WDW.
You can get a layout of Tampa if you do a search for Tampa international airport on your search function on your browser.

Thank you very much for the reply, Gail! after i posted this thread, i saw the other thread about "lead-footing" it from okw to tampa. we'll probably go a bit more sedately (75 max), unless the 29yo drives.
