I was just reading the new 2006 Birnbaum's guide and it says that WL and AKb follow the same seasons as the values and mods. Is this true?? I thought I would be in value season in mid August but the book says it regular only there other more expensive ones are vaule??
Has anyone got a rate for WL for mid Aug.2006?

I just plugged in a search at the Disney World web site for two adults at the WL in mid-August; I randomly chose a 6-night stay, and my total was quoted at $1371.48 (includes tax) for a standard-view room. That comes to $228.58/night.
I also have the Birnbaum guide, which lists the dates and seasons. In my search I randomly chose Aug. 12th as check-in (seems like mid-month to me!) and according to the book, that's regular season. But according to the quote I got on the web site, that looks like a Value rate.
When in doubt, trust the actual booking agent, in this case the web site!!

I don't know if this will help you or not but we usually visit the world during value season which usually starts around 8/28 through the end of September. The reason why I know this is because we took our honeymoon during value season and then every visit except one at that value season time to save a few bucks to use as spending money. Very, very hot time of the year though.
No, but value season for the Deluxes begins earlier than value season for values and moderates. It usually begins July 5th for the deluxes where moderates/values don't begin until end of August (this year its the 27th).

Value for Deluxes start July 8th this year. How much hotter do you think July 8th would be than June 21 - 28th?

So Its what I thought the Birnabaum's 2006 book is wrong. WL and AKL follow the same value season all all the deluexes. That what I thought
