Does anyone know an agent on Long Island that know Disney?
Can you pay for your vacation package with a credit card? We have the Disney Visa & I like to rack up points(disney dollars) on the card before we go. Thanks!

I don't know an agent in your area - sorry!
Yes, you can pay for your deposit and your balance with a credit card. In fact, that is the best way to do it. We had to do ours in a very round-about way because we wanted to use a balance transfer check to lock in a really low interest rate. AAA wouldn't take the check (GRR!) so we had to deposit the check in our account and have them run the trip on our debit card. I wanted to make sure it was covered by the rules governing credit card transactions in case we had some sort of dispute, but everything was fine! :)

Thanks! I am a control freak when it comes to Disney & I hate handing over my planning to a TA but the AAA discount is worth it. Thanks!

I am also somewhat of a control freak, but I also wanted to save some money. I booked a trip to WDW back in October for travel this May with Kathleen in the Garden City office. She used to work for Disney, has been to WDW many times, and has been able every question (and I certainly havesaked her a lot) that I have asked without saying "I'll get back to you". That being said, it's still your trip and, in my opinion, you have to still stay on top of everything.
Basically, you have to put down a $200 fully refundable deposit, and then you have to pay in full 45 days prior to the trip. It can all go on a credit card. I assume if you book a trip within the 45 days you will have to pay in full, but I really don't know.
