Hi, I am planning our first visit to WDW, July 10 with DW and 2 DD (7 & 5) . Thinking about All Star Movies resort and wanted to get idea of what to expect. Is it going to be crazy, busy then?

Also, we are coming in from overseas (BVI) and wanted to pre book some character dining, is it possible to do so on the web or do I need to phone Disney direct?

Is it best to book direct through the Disney Website or is there a way to get better prices?

Thanks

Take a look at www.mousesavers.com for some ideas on saving money.

Since this is your first trip, it might be a good idea to let a travel agent assist you, such as: http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com/ . You could very well end up saving money since they will know how to find the best rates. They can help you with character dining as well.

July will be hot and busy. Perhaps crazier early in July around the July 4th holiday, but not as bad as any of the other major holidays. For an idea of just a how busy it might be, see http://www.touringplans.com/BestDays.htm

If you decide not to go with a travel agency and have to book everything yourself then yes you must call and have the character meals and any other sit down ( AKA table service) meals booked over the phone. They do not book dining ressies ( Disney calls them advanced reservations or you may see the abbreviation ARs) over the internet.
